how brightness and color works on walls
color only
Our ink is semi-transparent, and many walls are an off-white shade. Additive color inherits the color of the wall, so it may appear slightly darker, depending on the shade of the wall.
color with white base
Adding a white base will brighten the off-white shade of the wall. The addition of white is a total of 5 colors, so there is an additional cost and time to adding white, but it will give the wall a brightening effect.
color on dark and black walls
Printing on a very dark or black wall will require a white base to be visible. On dark walls, you can print white-only or white and a color.
white only
White on a dark or black wall is a great effect that can mimic chalk, or simply have a cool, modern look.
